“Question dogma, question ideology, question authority. It is only by questioning what people take for granted, what people hold to be true, that we can break the hypnosis of social conditioning.”
-
Dr. Deepak Chopra

We are all experiencing changes in our lives and our world, and it is time to break the hypnosis of social conditioning.  Our old ways of thinking and living no longer serve us.
As we grow up we are influenced by what is taught to us by our mothers, fathers, teachers and preachers, and society at large. We act and think within these parameters…and we may not stop to question…until it doesn’t feel right anymore.
We realize we have fit ourselves into an “acceptable” box.

We limit ourselves rather than realizing there are limitless possibilities for how we can live our lives. Would you like to break free of old patterns and beliefs that hold you back?

“Those who were dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music”. Nietzsche

Wayne Dyer said, “Don’t believe everything you think. What would your life be like if you couldn’t use the excuses?”   We are not just victims of our circumstances. In everything that comes to us there is a gift.   And when we take responsibility, it empowers us.

The thoughts we think, the feelings we feel, the words we choose, and the actions we take all form our experience.  Most of us have no idea how powerful we are!   (see Our Deepest Fear by Marianne Williamson below)

Ask yourself these questions:

1. Is it time for me to expand my thinking, let go of patterns that no longer serve me, and allow new possibilities into my life?

2. Has what I been doing been working for me? (the definition of INSANITY: Doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results...)
3. Is there anything in my life I would like to change?
4. What do I want more of?
5. What do I want less of?
6. What am I tolerating or how am I sabotaging myself?
7. What difference do I want to make?
8. What is my vision for myself and for the world?
9. What are my values, and am I living them?
10. Do I know how to ask myself the “right” questions, questions that empower me?
11. Is my life feeling out of balance?  (physical, emotional, mental or spiritual health; relationships; career; etc...)
12. Would it be helpful for me now to have some support, guidance and feedback?

We all have an inner knowing, instincts and intuition of what is right for us.   The trouble is that, due to the hypnosis of social conditioning, we have ceased to listen.   I will do my best to help you reconnect with parts of yourself that have not been allowed to shine – to help you bring out the best in yourself, to see what you already “know”.

Our thoughts, feelings, words and actions create how we experience our life – choose them wisely!

“Playing small” in the world is not what we are here to do.

Our Deepest Fear

By Marianne Willamson

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves, “Who am I to be gorgeous, talented, fabulous?”   Actually who are you not to be?  You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.We are all meant to shine as children do.  We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence liberates others.
